At The Lounge Vet we believe in preventative healthcare which is why we have created The Lounge Wellness Plan – to give you peace of mind and convenient routine healthcare for your pet.

We believe in owner education so that you are empowered to make informed decisions that suit both your needs and those of your pet. We will always be happy to advise on your queries and concerns.

 

We offer consultations, advice and treatment, and where necessary, further investigations. We do not perform detailed imaging or surgery in the van as we feel this can more safely be performed in a bricks and mortar practice. We collaborate with the excellent Springwell Vets in Tring who provide these services.

 

We can provide written prescriptions for animals that are under our care, in accordance with the RCVS guidelines.

 

We can advise on and complete the required health certification necessary for taking your animals abroad. 

 

As a valued client of The Lounge Vet, you will be provided with free 24/7 digital veterinary support via the trusted platform VidiVet. Using an app, this gives you direct, unlimited access to a vet (via video, audio or text), no matter the time of day or night.

We understand that it is not always in the best interests of elderly animals to pursue detailed or invasive investigations and so offer palliative care where it’s indicated, to ensure your pets can continue to live comfortable and happy lives with you, for as long as possible.

 

When the kindest option is to say farewell to your pet, we aim to make this process as seamless as we can. We can talk you through the decision, and ensure you are prepared for helping your pet on their final journey. We endeavour to make them feel calm, peaceful and relaxed in their last moments with you.
